224 comes from Utah Route 224 — the road that runs through the heart of Park City. It's the road that brings everyone together: locals heading to practice, families driving to the slopes, visitors exploring our mountain town. We named our business after it because that's what we want to be — a gathering point for anyone who loves sports and being active in Park City.
Our mountain logo is built from the Weierstrass function — a mathematical curve that creates endlessly jagged, fractal-like peaks. It represents the real, rugged mountains surrounding Park City. Our brand colors are the same red, black, and white worn by the Park City Miners.
There were no football training equipment rentals in Park City. If you wanted to get reps in, you had to buy expensive machines or drive hours to find one.
Online accessories are hit-or-miss. Kids outgrow clothes before trends change. We got tired of ordering things that fell apart or didn't match what was shown online.
We built 224 Sports to fill those gaps — equipment you can rent without buying, clothes that are actually trendy, and accessories that hold up. All from a family that uses this stuff ourselves.
